Star Wars Clone Wars Continuity Correction

Previously I talked about how I didn’t understand how the Stormtroopers are not Clone Troopers. Cause I didn’t understand why the Empire would go from creating lots and lots of clones that are grown and are totally obedient to recruiting random people. Then the 3D Clone Wars series came out and said that they’re totally obedient because they Jango Fett was killed they didn’t have any more DNA to harvest and that changed it. But then, how did they betray their Jedi generals? Oh, they had a chip installed in their heads to make them turn on the Jedi when Order 66 was executed. All sound like a big copout.

But then, I remembered the old Star Wars Battlefront 2 game which actually had a better explanation as to why they stopped making clones. Was that after the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire, the Cloners didn’t agree with Empire, so they tried to rebel using their own clones against the Empire. During the attack, a lot of Cloners were killed pretty much destroying the cloning lab. And that’s why they switched from clones to recruiting. Again, that makes a lot more sense to me than all this copout shit like lack of DNA and chips installed in their brains.

But due to Star Wars being bought out by Disney, that was retconned. But, what are you gonna do, that’s why I never trusted expanded universes. But I’m just saying they’ve been using ideas from the expanded universe into the new one, like Thrawn. They could’ve easily put this idea into Clone Wars or Rebels.

Empire: From Growing Clones to Recruiting

Here’s something I don’t get about the Star Wars movies. See, in Attack of the Clones, the Kaminos says that the Clones are “totally obedient, taking any order without question.” But then when the Empire took over, they stopped making Clones replacing them with Stormtroopers. I mean, for a long time, I had thought that the Stormtroopers were still Clones, which is why I was confused as to why George Lucas (along with his other stupid edits to the original movies) didn’t replace all the Stormtroopers voices with Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison’s voice, like he did to Boba Fett in his (stupid) edit to Empire Strikes Back. But the point is, I don’t understand why the Empire would go from growing Clones who take any order without question to recruiting random people who could easily betray them. Then there were the animated shows like Clone Wars and Rebels, and all of sudden, they’re not so obedient. Stuff like Clone Troopers were traitors and deserters, that because they had to keep harvesting Jango Fett’s DNA, and after Mace Windu killed him, they had to make due with what they had left of. COPOUT! Why have that element of the Clones being obedient in the first place?
